From pink to blonde to brunette, Dakota Fanning has tried it all this year! The starlet debuted her third hair hue of 2012 — a warm chestnut color — on Instagram over the weekend, writing simply, “Well look who turned into a brunette!”
Fanning, currently a student at New York University, hasn’t sported such dark tresses since starring in Hide and Seek in 2005. And though blonde hair suits her pale complexion, we have to say, she wears the brunette well.
As if her look wasn’t enough news for one day, though, another star made a major hair change, too …

… Brooklyn Decker! The actress also took a trip to the dark side this week, going brunette on Monday (and giving a shout out to stylist Michael Angelo, who did the dye job). She flaunted the look later that night at the God’s Love We Deliver Golden Heart Awards in New York City.
Decker hasn’t made a major hair change since her big chop last March, but has said she’s always up for a new look. Well, Brooklyn, we’re loving this one.
