Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel were coy about their engagement and mum about their wedding before it happened, but now the newlyweds reveal that they started planning their spectacular nuptials right after they became engaged.
"Justin told me that since the day he proposed on top of a mountain in Big Sky Montana, the two of them have been planning this incredible wedding," says PEOPLE senior writer Jennifer Garcia, who interviewed the couple for this week's cover story.
"The most important thing to them, they wanted it to be personal," says Garcia.
Timberlake, 31, and Biel, 30, fulfilled that desire and had a wedding loaded with small personal touches in Italy.
Biel used pearls from her grandmother's wedding day tiara on her veil, and Timberlake serenaded his bride with a song written just for the occasion.
