Nick Cannon hosted the event, where the couple walked along the pier, toting cotton candy, rode a roller coaster and interacted with fans.
Wearing a curve-hugging red dress, Carey, 42, posed for photos with 18-month-old twins Monroe and Moroccan.
Monroe – whose white glasses matched her dress – and Moroccan played with balloons as photographers snapped away.
The feud between Carey and fellow judge Minaj came to a head when video of a heated exchange between the two surfaced Wednesday.
Although there have been reports gun threats, Idol's producers don't seem worried. On Friday, they issued a statement:
"This is one of the best, most passionate, dynamic and invested judging panels we've ever had. We love and support all of the judges and the fantastic work they are doing, and we can't imagine a better group to find the next American Idol. Despite all the accusations and media speculation – much of which is inaccurate – production is going extremely well today and the judges are focused on finding the best talent here in Baton Rouge."
