The pair, who split about a year ago after first stepping out together in April 2011, were happily reunited on Sunday afternoon at the annual Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times Halloween carnival in L.A.
Ballas, 26, who recently admitted with a laugh to L.A.'s 104.3 radio station that Toscano "ended it," posted upbeat Instagram photos of the former couple from the event, where they both performed separately.
"I was invited out here," Ballas, who was recently eliminated from Dancing with the Stars all-stars, told PEOPLE after his performance. "I came out to play and hang. I'm just going to finish [my latest] album over the winter and keep it moving. I've been playing a lot of shows."
As for his ex, 24, the ballroom pro, who says he is currently "single," also told the radio show, "We're cool. She lives down the street, so we ran into each other the other day at Starbucks. It's cool. We're still friends. It's all good."
