The country cutie looked gorgeous in an Elie Saab dress on the red carpet.


Taylor Swift was one of many stars to step out for the 2013 CMT Awards on June 5 at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. The 23-year-old songstress opted for a vanilla strapless silk georgette embroidered dress with an uneven hemline from Elie Saab‘s Spring/Summer 2013 ready-to-wear collection — and she looked stunning!

The rise and fall of the hemline allowed the svelte star to flaunt her long legs in the strapless silhouette, while she wore her hair back off her face to keep the focus on the delicate detailing of the dress. A pair of peep-toe booties that matched the color of the dress perfectly added a little bit of edge to the feminine frock, while Taylor’s red manicure popped against the fabric. The star ditched her signature red lip in favor of a soft pink pout and sported dramatic, winged eyeliner — she looked so sultry!


It isn’t surprising to see Taylor in an embellished dress but this feminine frock also had a little bit of mature edge — and the songstress pulled it off flawlessly! Personally I liked it way better than her over-the-top, girly gowns. My only complaint was that the color of the fabric really blended into Taylor’s skin. Aside from that, I really liked this dress on Taylor. Sure, it was everything we would expect but it also had a hint of a mature vibe.
