Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s daughter and great niece of the late President John F. Kennedy Jr., Kyra, made her formal debut at the Bal Des Débutantes 2013 in Paris over the weekend.

The 18-year-old aspiring fashion designer looked radiant Saturday in a blue Christian Dior dress.

"It's my first time wearing haute couture so that's really exciting, and I'm obsessed by the color," Kyra told the AFP. Kennedy was one of 20 handpicked debutantes to attend the high-society ball. British royal Lady Amelia Windsor and Romy David, daughter of Seinfeld creator Larry David also made the list.

Kennedy's father and his girlfriend, actress Cheryl Hines, watched as Kyra was introduced to society. The balls have been raising money for the Children of Asia charity since 2009.
