Zayn Malik Leaving One Direction After Cheating Scandal?

Though Zayn’s relationship with girlfriend Perrie Edwards is recovering nicely after he was accused of having cheated on her, it seems as if the pitfalls of fame have shaken the 1D hunk! Could he really be considering walking away from it all?

Zayn Malik ‘s relationship with Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards faced a major struggle when Australian waitress Courtney Webb accused the heartthrob of having an affair with her. While the relationship is still going strong in the face of the allegation, a new report claims that Zayn’s devotion to One Direction might be wavering. Say it ain’t so!

A source close to the band revealed to Celebuzz that “there is growing concern among the bosses that Zayn is on the brink at the moment…He feels that the last six months have been his toughest in the band yet.”

Zayn Malik’s Recent Struggle With Fame

The insider alleged that Zayn began struggling before scandal rocked his world. “Even before the cheating scandal, Zayn was steering clear of nights out with his bandmates and sometimes would skip media events,” the source said. “He has been quite low at several points when being away for key family celebrations. But his pals have cheered him up. People forget he is the shyest member. Naturally, he likes the adoration and his day job, but he is battling to cope with the pressure which comes with it.”

It appears that Zayn worries how his actions, fabricated or otherwise, affect the image of the band. “Zayn feels that being caught out with Courtney has made the band look bad, and is still worried about how bosses will react in the long run,” the report reads. “Simon [Cowell] made it clear that everyone makes mistakes and the key is to resolve problems and move on with what they do best.”

Zayn Gets Extra Vacation Days?

The report alleges that the hunky singer is finding the time away from his family to be more and more difficult to handle. Simon has allegedly promised he won’t overwork the group, even offering Zayn extra time off.

We hope Zayn is able to work through this and remain a member of the group. 1D wouldn’t be the same without him!
