The answer is probably not Alicia Keys, who performed her new single "Tears Always Win" on the Fox show Thursday night.
"I don't know if I'd want to be a judge," she told reporters after her performance.
The "Girl on Fire" singer did express her dismay that Jackson would be leaving the panel after 12 seasons.
"That's so sad," Keys told PEOPLE of Jackson's announcement. "I think he's amazing. I've really loved him for lots of years."
Season 10 runner-up Lauren Alaina was also disappointed to hear that Jackson would be departing from the show he has been a part of since 2002.
"He's been there since the beginning, and now none of the judges are going to be the same," she says. "It's kind of a bummer."
The music executive's last shows as a judge will be next week's two-part finale where Kree Harrison and Candice Glover will go head-to-head.
"I feel honored," Harrison says of being part of Jackson's final finale. "Randy has always been so nice and humble. He always comes up after the show and gives us constructive criticism."
And Glover, for one, cannot imagine the show without Jackson.
"I definitely don't think any season after this is ever going to be the same without 'Yo Dawg,' " she says. "He might need to rethink [leaving.]"
