Diamond earrings? Belly chains? Colorful extesnsions? So last year. For summer 2013, the hottest accessory for any lady popstar is, apparently, a golden grill.
Never mind that Beyoncé and Rihanna have long gotten over their flashy dental work fixation. For (from left), Miley Cyrus, Madonna and Katy Perry, however, their “grills gone wild” moment is just beginning.
Cyrus has really committed to this look, confessing to carrying three different ones in a retainer case in her purse in the event of a grill emergency.

Madonna has been experimenting with hers for a few months now, taking it for a spin on special occasions. As for how we feel about it, well, we’ve addressed that here already. But our negative reaction to it didn’t stop Perry from trying one out on the VMAs red carpet — though she cannily used her chompers to promote her latest single, “Roar.” If you’re going to look a little silly, you might as well do it for a cause.
