The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 42, is engaged to lawyer John Bluher, E! News reports. The attorney has been re-Tweeting congratulations to the couple on his account.
Bluher reportedly popped the question Thursday at the St. Regis Punta Mita Resort in Mexico, which is where he told the site they fell in love. He told E! he led her to a tent set up on the beach and presented her with a gold and diamond ring he helped design with jeweler Ari Soffer as they sipped Veuve Grand Dame champagne.
"Taylor was beautiful and never stopped smiling," Bluher said. "It was an amazing evening, a 10 all 'round."
The happy news comes two years after a dark period in Taylor's life following the suicide of her estranged husband, Russell Armstrong, in August of 2011. Together they were parents to daughter Kennedy, now 7.
Armstrong continued to appear on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after Russell's death, and the show chronicled her sometimes rocky attempts to find her footing.
"I was a train wreck," she said following a breakdown she had on camera not long after Russell's death. "I was on the Taylor Train and then it had a wreck. It was bad."
But a year later she looked happy and relaxed enjoying a PDA-filled brunch with a man believed to be Bluher.
"I am so much happier than I have ever been," Armstrong told E! in February of her relationship with Bluher. "I never thought I would feel this way."
"He is a beautiful man," she added. "I didn't think I would ever be able to trust someone completely. But somehow, he opened my heart and I let him in."
