Last we saw Ke$ha, she was sporting some highlighter-hued streaks throughout her hair, in a look that appeared to be distinctly My Little Pony-inspired. And now she’s out again with similarly out-there hair, but this time, the look is … somewhat sophisticated? Did we just type that?

Much like Kelly Osbourne’s permanently lavender locks, this look somehow works for the star (who is giving us major Lady Gaga vibes in these pics). Yes, she’s wearing two cotton candy hues split down her part, but Ke$ha’s outsize performance personality juxtaposed against the feminine, glossy waves make it a surprisingly winning (and pretty!) combo.
The pop star debuted her new dual hue on her way to Late Night With Jimmy Kimmel, where she wore a ladylike beaded Amen top and geometric cat-eye sunglasses. But lest you think this is a completely new Ke$ha, fear not: She also sported a flannel shirt tied at the waist and her familiar rings of eyeliner.
