Um, when did Jake Gyllenhaal’s hair become long enough for a messy bun? We’re not sure, but the actor’s new Bradley Cooper-esque do has our attention now. And let’s face facts: On the spectrum of divisive Gyllenhaal hairdos, you’re either a man-bun kinda girl or a shaved head kinda girl. (Editors here are split!)

The actor has been snapped on set of his new film Nightcrawler wearing half his hair pulled back into a mini bun. This is the biggest hair buzz surrounding the star since he shaved it all off for his 2011 role in End of Watch and made Matt Damon really jealous.
For Nightcrawler, he completed his hipster transformation with edgy sunglasses and a button-down shirt — another total 180° from the cop uniform he wore during his last major hair switchup.
Pre man-bun, Gyllenhaal had been spotted with a full beard, further proof that he loves a conversation-sparking hairdo. And while he may have a “damn good-looking head,” according to Damon, we want to know if that still applies when he’s wearing a tiny bun atop it.
