You know how your Facebook and Instagram feeds are filled with engagement announcements and ring shots this time of year? It’s the same for celebrities! Hollywood saw a ton of New Year’s proposals, which means there’s some serious bling we need to discuss.
If you wish your life was half as glamorous as Olivia Palermo’s, you’re not alone. The style-setter and Love Her Outfit regular got engaged to long-time boyfriend Johannes Huebl over the weekend, and her ring is pretty much everything we thought it would be — ad more.
From what we can tell in the video below, Palermo’s sporting an emerald-cut stunner flanked in diamonds. (Yes, Huebl posted a romantic video to Instagram. Yes, we’re already wondering how we can score a wedding invite.)
Next up, tennis pro Caroline Wozniacki said yes to golf pro Rory McIlroy’s proposal … and a gorgeous, ginormous cushion-cut diamond that’s a grand slam. Check it out below.
Rapper Eve also received one big holiday gift: A ring from Gumball 3000 founder and longtime boyfriend Maximillion Cooper, who reportedly popped the question on Christmas Day.
While there isn’t a close-up shot of her sparkler, the singer/actress posted a cryptic tweet while wearing the new bling — and it looks massive.
“Me and my mom and my lil brother Farrod just got to the English country side. Feel so #blessed to be with my family and sharing my life here. I pray that you bring 2014 in with people you #love. And nothing but #good #energy,” she captioned the below photo.
Continuum‘s Rachel Nichols has also been posting like crazy on Instagram since receiving a ring from her beau Michael Kershaw. After the initial “Engagement Drinks” photo, she shared a snap of her in the traditional “engaged girl” hand-on-chest pose, as well as a cute one that shows another angle of her new sparkler.
And TJ Thyne of Bones pulled off a majorly romantic surprise for his girlfriend Leah Park — you can read about their engagement here, or just stare at her stunning solitaire below.
