It's no wonder Kaley Cuoco's New Year's Eve wedding to Ryan Sweeting went off without a hitch.
"She's been planning her wedding since she was like 7 years old!" says her friend and makeup artist Jamie Greenberg. "The entire night was so Kaley."
And what a night it was – the fire-and-ice-themed bash was complete with stilt walkers, dancers and plenty of bubbly. "It was magical," says Greenberg. "Like a fairy tale."
As for the ceremony itself, "There wasn't a dry eye in the house," Greenberg says. "Kaley and Ryan were both crying as they said their vows. Kaley and I joked that she'd have to cry with her head tilted down so the tears wouldn't ruin her makeup!"
Clad in pink a Vera Wang ball gown, "Kaley was a girly and gorgeous bride," says Greenberg. "She always wanted to wear a pink dress." Bubblegum-pink lips, a "Bardot" cat eye and "glowy" skin completed Cuoco's wedding day look, says Greenberg, a Mark makeup artist.
Although the brand-new Mr. and Mrs. had only been dating for a few months when they announced their engagement in September, their love was clear for all to see.
"I know they just met, but they are such a lovely couple," Greenberg says. "Kaley had no nerves; it was pure excitement. I've never seen anyone with such pure 100 percent happiness on her face."
