We weren’t present at Olivia Palermo’s recent proposal (though this video from new fiancé Johannes Huebl makes us feel like we were), but even so, we can venture a guess that one of the first things out of her mouth (after “Yes!” and “I’ve got to call my mom!”) was “What am I going to wear?”
After all, the socialite and former City star has made a full-time job out of going out of the house looking impeccable, and plenty of your Pinterest friends (not to mention the PEOPLE StyleWatch team) have taken notice: She’s constantly appearing in “Love Her Outfit!” Suffice it to say that we may be almost as excited to see what Palermo decides on as she is.

On the off chance that she’s looking for a little guidance, we rounded up some front-runners for her to peruse. Inspired by Palermo’s simple, streamlined style (you’ll rarely see her in a princess dress or full skirt) we picked (from left) a romantic Naeem Khan with sleeves in her favorite three-quarter length, plus a sheer yoke to show off her graceful shoulders; a simply elegant Monique Lhuillier sheath with delicate details and a form-fitting silhouette; and a just-boho-enough Jenny Packham number that would work equally well in N.Y.C. or St. Barths.
