Sandra Bullock looked amazing as she walked down the red carpet at the 2014 Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala on Jan. 4 at the convention center in Palm Springs. The 49-year-old selected a refreshing frock for the occasion and she totally stole the spotlight in her bright pink dress!
Sandra Bullock’s Palm Springs Film Festival Dress:
Not only did her Alex Perry dress fit her like a glove, but we loved the bright color on the red carpet. The hot pink dress featured sheer detailing at the neckline and orange sleeves. She paired the ensemble with nude Brian Atwood pumps — and they proved to be a very wise choice, as they kept the focus on the vibrant dress. A gold Jimmy Choo clutch finished off the get-up.
The star rocked the get-up with dramatic, kohl-rimmed eyes and wore her hair down and straight, parted to the side.
Sandra was on hand to accept the Desert Palm Achievement Award for her work in Gravity — and she truly was a winner on the red carpet, as well! I have to admit, I love seeing the star take a chance in a vibrant color — and it’s something she seems to be doing a lot of lately! Seeing this dress reminds me of beautiful, blue Carolina Herrera frock she wore at the Tokyo premiere of Gravity — not because they are similar, but because both dresses were such unexpected, (and amazing!), choices on the star. I hope she continues her stellar style run in 2014, (especially during awards season!).
