On Sunday's episode of her Oprah Winfrey Network documentary, Lindsay, the recovering alcoholic admitted she slipped up with her sobriety and drank a glass of wine.
"Being in recovery and leaving this place where you're in this little bubble and everything is safe around you, it's really hard," said Lohan, 27. "And i jumped right into a relationship where we weren't on the same page. I wasn't considering the fact that the person I was seeing does drink."
No word on who Lohan was dating at the time: She was last linked to football player Matt Nordgren in September. But Lohan, 27, insisted her relapse only lasted one drink. The actress also denied tabloid reports that she returned to her hard-partying ways while visiting Los Angeles earlier this year – and said she's still committed to staying drug- and alcohol-free.
"I had a glass of wine, and that was it. But it was that i just had so much guilt, and it's OK to admit it, it's really scary. It took me a bit to finally be like, why am I holding this in?" she explained. "I screwed up, and that's okay, but now what can i do so that doesn't happen again. And that's a part of the process. That's a part of life."
In the meantime, Lohan is busy trying to relaunch her career: She developed a new fashion app with her brother, is slated to appear in a Lionsgate film and will guest-star on 2 Broke Girls next week.
