She may be known as one of Lifetime's Devious Maids but Roselyn Sánchez has nothing but good tricks up her sleeve when it comes to making the holidays extra special for her daughter, Sebella Rose.

Sánchez, who hails from Puerto Rico and is married to American actor Eric Winter, 38, makes an extra effort to ensure both cultures play a role in her daughter's Christmas celebration.

"We combine things, Latin music and Christmas carols, which I find kind of boring. I tell [Eric]: 'Change the music!,' " Sánchez, 41, jokes in the special holiday edition of Chica, in the December/January issue of PEOPLE En Español, which hits newsstands Friday.

"We try to teach her both cultures," adds the actress, model, singer and entrepreneur. "Food at home during Christmas is very Puerto Rican. Rice with pigeon peas … pastels. We celebrate the Three Wise Men. My husband didn't know you have to put fruit in a box under [Sebella's] bed so the camels can eat and the Three Wise Men bring you gifts."

And it's actually the Three Wise Men and grandma. "[Eric's mom] gives her the stocking full of toys and candy," Sánchez says of the additional surprises awaiting her daughter, who turns 3 years old on Jan. 4.

As for what Sánchez has on her wish list this holiday season?

"I really want to be a mom once again," she tells Chica, hinting at plans to give a little sibling to Sebella.
