We knew it was only a matter of time before Kylie Jenner pulled another hair change. And we were right. But we didn’t expect Hailee Steinfeld to chop off her signature super-long strands. Below, a recap of both teens’ transformations.
Jenner has been loving her length lately (thanks to her new line of clip-ins), but she’s changing up her shade quite often. After experimenting with a gray fade, the 17-year-old star has returned to her blue ombré ends, a color which she sported earlier this year for sister Kim’s wedding.
“I change my style maybe every month,” Jenner recently told PEOPLE of her chameleon ways. “I’m like punk one month, ghetto fab the next, classy the next. I’m just young and finding out who I am. I get bored, I like to change my hair and style.”

From color to cut, Steinfeld, who has been rocking long hair since she started hitting the red carpet, debuted a fresh chop Tuesday at the premiere of The Homesman during AFI Fest 2014 in Hollywood. The 17-year-old actress shaved several inches off her ends, for a chic layered look. And of course she addressed her updated do on Twitter with a series of emojis.
