First Lady Michelle Obama was spotted attending church services at Saint John’s Church in Washington D.C. on Oct. 27 with the first family. The beauty turned heads wearing the same dress she wore in December 2009 for Oprah’s special telecast of Christmas At The White House. Michelle certainly loves this look and we are feeling it as well! The 49-year-old political figure stunned in a purple, long-sleeved velvet Azzedine Alaia dress that fit her body perfectly. Michelle is known for recycling outfits and we love how she continues to serve it up every time, even updating the look!
Michelle Obama Recycles Her Dress For Church:
The first lady loves to rewear her favorite looks and that’s exactly what she did on this occasion — digging deep into her closet to find this purple velvet Azzedine Alaia dress! The frock featured an eyelet pattern and a scalloped skirt, adding to the feminine vibe of the ensemble. She made the look so perfect for fall by pairing the frock with over-the-knee black boots, silver drop earrings, and her medium-long brown locks worn out in a curled style.
Michelle Obama Wears The Dress For ‘Christmas At The White House’:
In December 2009, Michelle wore the purple frock one year into her husband, Barack Obama‘s, term for an appearance on Oprah’s special telecast, Christmas At The White House. The frock was paired with black boots, an updo, and a beautiful pair of pearls that exuded a polished vibe. It’s refreshing to have a first lady that is so fashion-forward!
