Congratulations are in order for Evelyn Lozada and Carl Crawford ! Not only does Evelyn have a baby on the way, but she’s also engaged! The LA Dodgers outfielder popped the question on Christmas Day, Dec. 25, and the 38-year-old bride-to-be couldn’t contain her excitement — in fact, she took to Instagram to show off her gigantic new sparkler, which was simply captioned: ”YES! Thank u so much @jasonofbh for this BEAUTIFUL DESIGN!!!! #HappiestGirlInTheWorld”

The Basketball Wives star must be excited — and who could blame her? Evelyn’s engagement ring is bigger and better than ever. Designed by celebrity jewelry Jason of Beverly Hills, the ring is made up on a 10 carat, emerald cut center stone. The band also features diamonds as the ring features a diamond halo that surrounds the center stone. All together, the ring clocks in at a total of 14.5 carats — and it comes with a very hefty price tag! Evelyn’s brand new bling is valued at a whopping $1.4 million.
The Dodgers player presented the ring to Evelyn, clearly making it a Christmas the couple will never forget! The pair has been dating for a year and Evelyn is six months pregnant with the couple’s first child together — it looks like 2014 will be a busy year for the newly engaged couple!
