The actress tied the knot in August and ‘Martha Stewart Weddings’ magazine has the touching photos from her big day. Which frock did you like better? VOTE.
Kate Bosworth married director Michael Polish on Aug. 31 in an exquisite, mountain top ceremony. The 30-year-old looked stunning for her nuptials, where she showed off not one but two stunning dresses — and both were by designer Oscar de la Renta!
Kate Bosworth’s Wedding Dress & Reception Details:
Kate had two gowns created for her special day. She wore a strapless creation with a long train that featured a stunning, draping back for the mountain top ceremony before slipping into an embellished, short-sleeved ensemble that featured lace, crystals and pearls for the reception.
“I was deeply in love with both dresses,” she gushed to Martha Stewart Weddings. The couple worked with the Martha Stewart team to make sure everything was ready to go for their big day — and you can see it all in the winter issue of the magazine! Guests enjoyed a fiesta the night before the wedding as the reception featured an ethereal wedding cake which featured roses. For the kickoff party, Kate stunned in a custom-made Proenza Schouler silk dress, while for the reception, she wore an embellished vintage Chloe dress and wore her blonde locks in a braid, (you can see this look above).
Kate Bosworth’s Wedding:
The reception room had a rustic vibe as it featured vines and votive candles — and the groom himself was moved by the decor, saying it “looked like a Midsummer Night’s Dream.” Instead of having guests sign a guest book, their friends and family signed a map of Montana. For favors, the guests left with whiskey and bitters wrapped inside paper that featured a rubber stamp of the couples’ new monogram.
While Kate looked stunning in both dresses, they both gave off such a different vibe — but which one do you like better? VOTE!
