Beyoncé’s busy at work preparing for her highly-anticipated Super Bowl halftime show in New Orleans on Feb. 3! On Jan. 29, the singer shared a sexy new promo pic — is it game time yet?
While Beyoncé rehearses for her upcoming halftime show at Super Bowl XLVII in New Orleans, held on Sunday, Feb. 3, and we all wait impatiently to see what she has in store for us, the diva took to her website on Jan. 29 to share a sexy promo shot — and show off her equally sexy legs!
The new photo catches Bey, 31, in a referee uniform that only she could pull off, as it’s mostly comprised of booty shorts and a black-and-white striped shirt, with thigh-high black leather boots! She’s holding an official Super Bowl XLVII football and rocking the same black paint under her eyes that she wore when she teased her performance for the first time.
Beyoncé’s Busy January
It’s been a busy 2013 for the singing legend. On top of preparing to take on one of the world’s largest stages, she released a new single with her former group Destiny’s Child and she performed the National Anthem at President Barack Obama ‘s second Inaugural Ceremony on Jan. 21.
Her performance in Washington, D.C. wasn’t without its controversy, as rumors dogged the singer, claiming that she had, in fact, lip-synced. An inaugural official, who chose to remain anonymous, told CNN, “She did not sing live.”
Beyoncé’s Decision To Lip-Sync
The official claims that the “Irreplaceable” singer made the decision to lip-sync to a pre-recorded track after arriving too late to rehearse on Sunday, Jan. 20. “Because she didn’t have time to rehearse with the Marine Band, she decided to use her recording with the Marine Band,” the official said. “It was all Beyoncé.”
Whether she sings live at the Super Bowl or not, nothing can deny the fact that Beyoncé is going to bring one heck of a show to the Super Dome. We can’t wait — and have our fingers crossed for an on-stage Destiny’s Child reunion, too!
