"Oh, it's fantastic!," Jones, 50, told PEOPLE at the Best in Drag Show 2014 on Sunday. "Just bought a house ... and just getting everything dialed in and everything like that."
The Glee star married her longtime girlfriend Bridgett Casteen in December at a holiday party-turned-surprise wedding at the couple's Los Angeles home.
But married life doesn't mean no more date nights.
"We have a theater room – it's got like a 120-inch screen – so, just hanging out and watching movies," Jones said about her ideal night in with Casteen.
Aside from movies, one secret to the actress's happy marriage is a healthy balance between her work and personal life.
"You know what, work is work. You leave it there and then you go home," said Jones, who recently began filming Glee's sixth and final season.
