On Sunday night, during the not-so-relaxing couples' trip to Florida, the rumor that Victoria Gotti told earlier in the season came full circle when Jim Marchese repeated out loud what had yet to be said: Teresa Aprea's husband, Rino, had slept with his mother-in-law.
"You don't talk about mothers!" yelled Melissa Gorga, as twins Nicole Napolitano and Aprea listened in shock about their mom. "No! No!"
"That's why I was trying to shut this down all night long," said Dina Manzo, who had heard the rumor earlier in the season and tried, to no avail, to tell the twins before the Marcheses' arrival.
"Don't you dare talk about my mother," said a crying Aprea. "I'm done."
"I know I can be a prick, but I have nothing but disgust for them," said Jim, who told his upset wife that he was angry because, "they hurt you," adding, "Rino did bang their mom."
But when a distraught Aprea left the house the next morning, a stern Manzo told the Marcheses to do the same.
"I'm gonna ask you kindly to leave," Manzo said to the couple as they ate breakfast by the pool. "Get up, pack your bags and go."
"Are you asking them to leave?" Amber asked, referring to the twins and Napolitano's boyfriend Bobby. "You're judge and jury?"
But they packed and left the sunshine state, which made room for the return of Teresa, who surprised everyone by coming back with Rino in tow.
"This is the best thing you could come up with?" Rino joked over dinner about the rumor. "I could give you better stories than that."
At least one couple had a little fun in the sun: Joe Gorga and Bobby.
"There's a little bro-mance going on," joked Manzo, as the two traded shots on a luxury yacht, before diving into the ocean, rolling in the sand onshore and performing faux CPR on one another – which Bobby needed later after passing out from drinking too much.
Meanwhile, Teresa and Joe Giudice tried to create some alone time for one another in the midst of their legal troubles.
"He always makes me feel safe," said Teresa over dinner in New York City. "Safe and loved."
But, perhaps, not romantic.
"You still look sexy after all these years," Joe told his wife over wine and oysters. "How old are you? 50? 60?"
The Real Housewives of New Jersey airs Sundays (8 p.m. ET) on Bravo, and the Giudices will speak for the first time since their sentencing during a special Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Monday (9 p.m. ET).
