Jimmy Kimmel Helps Taylor Swift Get Sweet Revenge (VIDEO)

The haters gonna hate, hate, hate, hate, but Taylor Swift knows how to shake it off.

Jimmy Kimmel, however, isn't so forgiving.

On Thursday, Swift, 24, stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! to chat about her upcoming album, 1989, and share a long-ago story of rejection.

It turns out that when the "Out of the Woods" singer was only 14, she wanted to audition for Kimmel's music booker, Scott, so she could land a performance on the show. But Scott ended up turning the little Swift down, and now it was time for payback.

"Looking back, all's well that ends well," Swift said about the encounter.

"I do hold grudge," Kimmel responded. "I want Scott thrown out of this building right now."

Based on his 10-year-old bad call, Scott was kiddingly booted from the show and given time to think about the poor choice he made.

On the other hand, Jimmy Kimmel Live! made amends for its past rebuff, shutting down Hollywood Boulevard to give Swift space for a huge, electrifying performance.

Revenge sure can be sweet.
