Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher are taking parenting by storm.

The couple have been family-oriented from the start, and welcoming their daughter, Wyatt Isabelle, is the best thing that could have happened to their relationship, a source close to the actress tells PEOPLE.

"Mila was born to be a mom," the source says. "She is a kid herself and will be the best mom ever. She will never be a glamour-puss. Their lives will change, but not nearly as drastically as other couples, because they were so ready to be parents and knew what responsibilities they had in store."

"Ashton has wanted to be a parent for so long. He is ready to do anything necessary to take care of the baby. He is ecstatic," the source adds.

According to a second source, Kunis, 31, and Kutcher, 36, spent last weekend at home with their new baby.

"They had guests over all weekend that visited the baby. They have been getting lots of flower deliveries and gift baskets. You can tell that they are loved by many people. Mila has been taking the baby for short walks around the neighborhood. She looks great and very happy."

When asked if Kunis is putting her career on hold to become a full-time mom, the source close to the actress says, "I can't see anything coming between her and the baby. If that means changing her course for awhile, she likely will. But for now, nobody can really predict. They'll have to see how things go."

"Timing is everything in life, and now the time belongs to this amazing new family," the source tells PEOPLE. "I believe Mila and Ashton will put the baby first."
