Simon Cowell's girlfriend Lauren Silverman celebrated the upcoming arrival of their baby boy during an intimate baby shower with friends and family at Cowell's Beverly Hills home on Sunday.
Guests – including Cowell exes Terri Seymour and Mezhgan Hussainy – were greeted by the sight of a gorgeous Christmas tree and handsome man serving drinks.
The couple is planning a Caribbean getaway for the Christmas holiday where they may have even more to celebrate. According to a source, now that Silverman has finalized her divorce from husband Andrew Silverman, Cowell, 54, will be able to follow through with his plans to propose before the baby's February due date.
"Simon doesn't want Lauren to give birth to his son as a single mom," says a Cowell source. "He is ready to commit."
Silverman has a 7-year-old son with her ex-husband; this will be Cowell's first time as a dad.
