The singer wed fellow musician John McCauley of the band Deer Tick Friday evening, she confirmed via Twitter.
"Married this gentleman two hours ago xo," she wrote and posted a romantic photo of the couple embracing while lovingly gazing into one another's eyes.
The bride can be seen wearing a simple white, long-sleeved fitted gown. A wreath of purple flowers sits on her head, which appear to match the small bouquet in her hand.

The "A Thousand Miles" singer, 33, also revealed that she had perhaps the best officiant ever: Stevie Nicks of Fleetwood Mac.
"Thanks Stevie for marrying us," she tweeted Friday evening, along with a photo of the trio during the ceremony.
Their nuptials come just two months after Carlton was diagnosed with an ectopic pregnancy and forced to undergo emergency surgery.
The singer was forced the cancel part of her tour due to intense pain, and had to have her right fallopian tube removed after efforts to shrink the pregnancy and save the tube via chemotherapy were unsuccessful.
But the difficult experience evidently brought the couple even closer together. She wrote about the ordeal on Facebook last month, and said McCauley saved the day after she ended up in the ER without underwear.
"My fiancé showed up. He had flown all night. He had my underwear. My hunter green lace ones:-) I realize I am a lucky woman on many levels here," she wrote.
