But Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are already practicing their act, releasing a decidedly off-key tune (watch it here) as they make comic preparations for the 71st annual Golden Globe Awards, set for Jan. 12
The SNL alumni made last year's show a memorable and bawdy one as hosts, sipping on cocktails from the stage and making fun of TV and film stars, including George Clooney and Taylor Swift, with razor-sharp digs.
The 30 Rock and Parks and Recreation stars are returning this year, teasing their appearance in a clip aired during last night's live Sound of Music Live show. They tout their musical prowess from behind a white baby grand piano in a reckless duet, premiering the Globes' opening song, which Fey claims they've written.
You can catch their fine-tuned performance when this year's show from the Hollywood Foreign Press Association airs on NBC at 8 p.m. ET Jan. 12.
Kevin Bacon's daughter Sosie will also share the stage as the 2014 Miss Golden Globe.
