Beach weddings are nice, but there is something so romantic about a winter wedding – especially when the picturesque location is covered in snow.
Clearly that was just what former Even Stevens actress Christy Romano was thinking when she tied the knot with longtime boyfriend Brendan Rooney in Alberta, Canada, on Tuesday.
The pair exchanged vows in front of 50 guests at the Fairmont Banff Springs, a resort that the bride had visited when she was performing in The Sound of Music.
"It was such a magical feeling that stayed with me, so I wanted to recapture that on my wedding day," she tells PEOPLE.
Romano, 29, wore a stunning Lazaro gown with an embellished bodice and carried a bouquet with white roses, while the groom, 30, wore a Hugo Boss tuxedo.
