We totally get the idea of being loyal to one kind of moisturizer, one kind of shampoo, one particular perfume, one brand of mascara. But, to be totally frank, we never felt that way about lip balm. We were never loyal to a certain brand, going out of our way to get it because it’s so, so much better than what’s stocked in the drugstore. Well, we didn’t feel that way until we tried these amazing lip butters. The rose, the blood orange and the mint all smell so good that this editor has taken to treating the butters like a solid perfume and dabbing a bit on her pulse points. It also has another (intended) use: As a cuticle softener. But most importantly, this stuff makes your lips soft. Like, really soft. It’s all-natural, but it really works. And it doesn’t smudge off within an hour of being applied (like a lot of other balms). And if you’re a lipstick wearer, you definitely need this stuff in your makeup bag. Swipe a bit on your lips then when you apply the lipstick, the color will go on so much smoother, plus it’ll stay put longer.
