Heidi Klum's star-studded Halloween tradition is taking a year off.

"Hope you & your loved ones are safe after the storm," she Tweeted Tuesday.

"Canceling my Halloween party...postponing to a haunted Christmas," she wrote with a photo of herself on a post-Hurricane Sandy N.Y.C. street.

Much of New York City was still shut down as of Tuesday afternoon, following what officials call the worst storm to ever hit the city. In addition, for the first time in its history, the New York City Halloween parade has been canceled.

Klum had planned to attend her always over-the-top bash as Cleopatra.

Klum, 39, has previously dressed up as everything from a robotic superhero to Lady Godiva and Betty Boop.

No word on whether the festivities will go on for Klum's trick-or-treaters, children Leni, 8, Henry, 7, Johan, 5, and Lou, 3.
