Newly-minted Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer welcomed a baby boy on Sunday night, she and her husband Zachary Bogue announced on Monday.
The 37-year-old's financier hubby shared the good news in a Tweet: "Baby boy Bogue born last night. Mom (@marissamayer) and baby are doing great – we couldn't be more excited!"
And the new parents are relying on technology for more than simply sharing their family news.
They're also crowdsourcing a name for their son, according to a Tweet by Jeff Jarvis, a journalism professor and the author of Public Parts: How Sharing in the Digital Age Improves the Way We Work and Live. He wrote: "Just got a large-group email from @marissamayer. She's crowdsourcing suggestions for Baby Boy Bogue's name! How digital can you get?"
The Silicon Valley mogul's new title as mom comes after 13 years at Google and a recent move to Yahoo in July.
