The Duchess of Cambridge made her first public appearance since returning from her Asia tour when her father Michael Middleton walked a close friend down the aisle at a wedding on Saturday.
Family friend Thierry Kelaart chose Michael to give her away at her country wedding on Saturday because her own father died nearly two decades ago.
The last time he'd carried out such a role was April 2011 when Kate wed Prince William on a spectacular day watched by millions.
At the quiet affair in Oxfordshire, England a beaming Kate, 30, joined her mother Carole and sister Pippa to help celebrate the nuptials of Kelaart and Patrick Heathcoat-Amory.
Never one to shy away from recycling outfits, Kate was dressed in the same light blue outfit by Erdem that she wore to the birthday parade for Queen Elizabeth in London.
Although Prince William the Duke of Cambridge wasn't present, he may have been in North Wales working in his role as a search and rescue helicopter pilot.
