In a move that most certainly will make her dad's day, Francesca Eastwood has been named Miss Golden Globe 2013 by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.

The daughter of Clint Eastwood and actress Frances Fisher, Francesca, 19, appeared in her first film when she was 2, and has been around Hollywood her entire life – attending her first Golden Globe show when she was only 8.

She says she's a little nervous about making her debut as she helps to escort award winners on and off stage. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are hosting the show Jan. 13.

"I'm a little worried, maybe, about falling over or doing something like that," she told PEOPLE at a Globe's party held Thursday at Cecconi's in West Hollywood. "I do not want to wear a ball gown, but I think that really fancy dresses are reserved for the nominees. I'm planning on something simple that won't make me fall over."

Eastwood, who has been seen this year on the first season of E!'s Mrs. Eastwood & Company , expresses admiration for her mother's career. But her accomplished dad hasn't – as some might expect – advised her on working in the entertainment business, she said.

"My dad's advice is more father-daughter advice, and it's not necessarily acting advice," she said. "It's more like, 'Always believe in yourself,' and, 'Don't get caught up in the wrong crowd.' "

Previous Miss Golden Globe honorees have included Rumer Willis, Laura Dern, Melanie Griffith and Joely Fisher.

The 70th Golden Globe Awards will be broadcast live from the Beverly Hilton on NBC on Sunday, Jan. 13, at 8 p.m. ET, 5 p.m. PT.
