She may play the straitlaced middle child on Modern Family, but Ariel Winter is rocking some very un-Alex Dunphy-like hair these days.
The actress, 15, showed off her new fire-engine red strands on Instagram, pointing out that the look was Disney-inspired.

“Soooooo…. I dyed my hair red…. ;) #littlemermaid,” she captioned her photo, then added another shot that really showcases her bright do as she poses next to Dora the Explorer.
We think the hue is gorgeous on the star (and, side note, our skin did not look that amazing at 15!), though we have to wonder what her TV big sis Hayley would have to say about it! (Her TV step-grandma, on the other hand, would absolutely approve — she went blonde herself just this week!)
