Kellie Pickler and Derek Hough

Derek Hough and partner Kellie Pickler reigned once again this week, according to tough judge Len Goodman, who declared the singer "queen" for their "Footloose" jive. Carrie Ann Inaba called the performance "ridiculously amazing." They earned the top score of 25 points.
Hot on their heels were early frontrunners Zendaya and partner Val Chmerkovskiy, who earned 24 points for a Viennese waltz that Bruno Tonioli called as "enchanting and charming as Venice in the moonlight."
NFL star Jacoby Jones was sexy and shirtless for an impressive, 24-point rumba with partner Karina Smirnoff. "This had a refinement," Len said. "It had quality of movement."
Aly Raisman and Mark Ballas, who kicked off the night with an emotional Viennese waltz, also fared well with the judges, who gave them a total of 23 points – but not without a bit of torment.
"I've been impressed with your dancing, but not so much tonight," Len told the couple, before shouting, "April Fools!"
The most improved title for the night went to boxer Victor Ortiz and Lindsay Arnold, who earned 23 points for their contemporary routine.
"I was expecting the worst, but I was pleasantly surprised," Len said. "[It was] your best dance so far."
Bruno called the number "unbelievable." "You're a dancer," he said. "Strong, gentle, caring, sentimental. You make your partner proud."
But it wasn't an evening of improvement for everyone.
Cheryl Burke and D.L. Hughley had another tough night – their salsa to James Brown's "Sex Machine" was heavily panned.
"If you're a sex machine, I'm America's Next Top Model," Len said of the 16-point routine. "This was not a salsa."
But the worst score of the night went to Wynonna and her partner Tony Dovolani, who received 15 points for their low-energy samba to Def Leppard's 1987 hit "Pour Some Sugar on Me."
"Oh, no, Wynonna," Bruno said. "It was a bit sedated."
