Drew Barrymore must have heard how much we were loving her new, blonder look — because she took the plunge and went platinum.
After gradually transitioning from her dark brunette hue for a few months, the star went to a West Hollywood salon with her pal Emily Blunt (below) for some girl time: Five hours in foils, to be specific, while both lightened up their locks.

And both stars seemed to have a little fun with the paparazzi lurking outside the salon, striking silly poses and getting fits of the giggles — no embarrassment about getting snapped mid-process here at all.
This is the blondest either star has been in quite some time, and we’re loving the lighter hues just in time for summer. We’re almost tempted to book dual salon appointments with our own BFFs for this weekend.
