Adam Levine's Fiancée on His Sexiest Man Honor: She Laughed!

Adam Levine may have been named PEOPLE's Sexiest Man Alive, but his own fiancée, Victoria's Secret model Behati Prinsloo, is taking the superlative in stride, keeping his rock-star ego carefully in check.

Her reaction to Tuesday's big news, revealed on The Voice ? "Laughter, a lot of laughter," Levine, 34, told PEOPLE after the top 10 elimination show. "She's keeping me humble."

The Maroon 5 frontman said he shared his selection with Prinsloo this way: "Hey, how ya doing? Let’s go to dinner tonight. And PEOPLE magazine says I’m the Sexiest Man Alive," he said.

Prinsloo, who has posted her own sexy skivvy pics of her fit and handsome man online, is certain to approve. But as for how the significance of the award shapes up for Levine? It seems like a mixed bag, the rocker said, noting he was "shocked" but also grateful to be chosen.

"It’s hard to talk about it because you feel like you owe it to be kind of self-deprecating about it because it is an iconic thing, but also silly," he said. "I’m not going to comment on anything other than it’s really flattering and I feel lucky."

He's also ready for plenty of ribbing along the way. "It’s going to hit me when I’m constantly the butt of every joke every friend and family member makes for the next 20 years of my life, but I’m ready to handle it all."

It was an overall good night for Levine, who accepted the honor amid excitement that his team had made it through to the next round of competition.
