David Beckham: Brad Pitt Should Play Me in a Movie

His wife, Victoria Beckham, suggested earlier this year that he should be the next James Bond, but whom would David Beckham want to play him in a movie about his life?

The retired soccer star and sometime underwear model admitted he was stumped when the question was posed during a radio interview with U.K.'s talkSPORT on Thursday.

"Someone asked me that the other day and I couldn't answer it," he admitted. But when the interviewer suggested Brad Pitt, the father of four took the ball and ran with it.

"Brad would be the obvious choice," he joked. "I'd like Brad to be playing me. Him or Leonardo [DiCaprio]. One of the two … or Bradley Cooper. They're not bad-looking guys."

While we love the idea of seeing Pitt in a pair of soccer shorts, the next question is: Who would play Mrs. Beckham?

The topic came up last year when Posh and her Spice Girls bandmates were launching their musical Viva Forever! Mel B. and Geri Halliwell both suggested that Pitt's fiancée, Angelina Jolie, should play the singer-turned-fashion designer.

But her response wasn't quite so enthusiastic. She winced and responded, "Oh, God."
