No “Blurred Lines” here: actress (and wife of Robin Thicke) Paula Patton has gone for a decisively short and sleek chop. The Baggage Claim star debuted her chic new bob at the Independent Spirit Awards Tuesday, and we think it’s one of her best-ever looks.
Though there’s no denying she’s stunning no matter what length of hair she likes to wear, Patton’s tendency to love super-tight, supershort outfits combined with her glamorous bombshell waves sometimes made her red carpet looks feel a little over-the-top. But here, her bob plays off her second-skin white mini to make her look modern, sophisticated and unexpectedly sexy.

Adding to the sex appeal of her new do: A clean, classic cat eye, glossy red lips and dangling diamond earrings. We can only imagine how Robin Thicke will react to this new look (actually, we already know: it’s probably something very steamy).
