The Olympic downhill champ, who suffered a serious knee injury in February that required surgery to her ACL and MCL, was hurt while training at Copper Mountain in Colorado.
"Lindsey sustained a mild strain to her right knee, a partial tear to her right ACL, minor facial abrasions and scapular contusions from her fall," her rep tells PEOPLE.
The 29-year-old had been aiming to return to World Cup competition on Nov. 29, with an eye towards the Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, in February, but it's not known now if she'll be able to compete.
"She needs to rest for a few days and then will pursue aggressive physical therapy and will determine the next time she is able to compete after seeing how she responds to treatment," her rep says.
