We loved chatting all things wedding dress with Whitney Port yesterday, but the City star left us hanging on the engagement ring front. Fortunately, we didn’t have to wait long — photos of her new sparkler are out, and it is (as we were told by a pal) “stunning.”
And while Port isn’t into the classic “cupcake” gown for her impending nuptials, her ring itself appears fairly traditional. Fiancé Tim Rosenman gave Port an oval-shaped diamond in a four-prong setting, set on top of a slightly wide band which appears to be yellow gold and studded with diamonds itself.

Port had plenty of opportunity to show it off, running her hands through her long waves at a shoot for Joico haircare. She seems to be pretty happy to join the pantheon of other Hills alums with lovely engagement rings — and who can blame her?
