Six people were injured in a shooting Tuesday morning at a FedEx facility outside Atlanta, according to reports.

Atlanta NBC affiliate WXIA-TV said the shooting was reported at a facility in Kennesaw, Ga., at around 5:45 a.m. and that a male suspect fled the scene and had not yet been apprehended.

Multiple victims were taken to WellStar Kennestone Hospital. CNN reports that six people were injured, and that one of them was in surgery.

There was no immediate word on the condition of the other victims.

FedEx said it is "aware of the situation" and that "the primary concern is the safety and well-being of our team members, first responders and others affected."

More than 50 emergency vehicles responded to the call to the facility at 1675 Airport Road, WXIA reported. The suspect was not identified.
