Jennifer Lawrence has landed yet another magazine cover, but this time it’s not because she’s starring in a blockbuster. Instead, she’s in the supporting role (so to speak), of bridesmaid in her brother Blaine’s Kentucky wedding in October, which was featured on the cover of Martha Stewart Weddings‘ special Real Weddings issue.
Lawrence was one of 11 bridesmaids standing up for her brother’s new wife Carson Massler, a nurse and part-time stationery designer. The ladies all wore ivory J.Crew dresses with varying necklines, as seen on the magazine’s cover below. Lawrence went with her signature strapless — a cut that’s served as her go-to for the past two Oscars, as well as many other red carpet events.

The actress styled her pixie into soft, side-swept waves and added minimal jewelry (no backwards necklace this time!). Though in the sweet candid photo above, she’s wearing only small stud earrings, in the cover photo, the bridesmaids are all wearing matching pendants — a traditional gift from the bride to her “attendants.”

At another fall wedding documented by the magazine, veteran bridesmaid Jessica Simpson stood by her publicist Lauren Auslander at her Newport, RI wedding to financier David Hill. She wore a midnight blue off-the-shoulder gown and her hair in her signature long, loose style, plus natural makeup.
