The teeny-tiny island of Windermere was home to a very big pair of superstars last week.

One day before Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin announced their separation on March 25, the pair touched down on the island of Eleuthera in the Bahamas. But that was not their final destination.

Joined by their kids, Apple, 9, and Moses, who turns 8 on April 8, the couple spent a week at a private home on Windermere, an exclusive paradise just off the main island of Eleuthera.

The tiny island is no stranger to A-list attention: Mariah Carey owns a home on Windermere, where she and Nick Cannon secretly tied the knot in 2008.

Paltrow, 41, and Martin, 37, kept a low profile during their breakup moon but did venture out a few times, including dinner at local favorite Tippy's on March 28.

The family departed the island yesterday morning, with Martin primed to begin promoting Coldplay's new album, Ghost Stories. The singer was just announced as a presenter at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on April 10, where he is set to induct fellow English singer-songwriter Peter Gabriel.
