That would be G.R.L. (a riff on the word "Girl," but pronounced like "T.R.L."), the sexy new girl-group featured on Pitbull's new radio hit, Wild Wild Love (No. 25 on the charts and still climbing). They've performed on both the Today show and The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday.
Formed in 2012, the group – featuring Simone Battle, Paula Van Oppen, Brit-born Lauren Bennett, Natasha Slayton and Canadian Emmalyn Estrada – are currently in the studio working on their debut album with uber-producers Dr. Luke and Max Martin (Katy Perry, Kesha) and planning to release their first single off the album "Ugly Heart" in May.
"It all came together pretty organically and naturally," Slayton tells PEOPLE about choosing the right mix of girls to form the group.
Adds Battle, "We'd all been pursuing careers in the industry on our own, individually, but once we found each other, we realized we wanted to do it together. It felt so right. The chemistry was perfect."
So with five girls performing – and some living – together, there are bound to be some arguments, right?
"Yes! We're human beings!" they all say at once. "But we're like sisters," explains Van Oppen. "We can have our disagreements, but at the end of the day, we're family."
