Paul Simon has been arrested on a domestic violence charge, according to reports.
The Grammy-award winning singer was arrested in New Canaan, Conn., NBC news says, citing police.
Per the Associated Press, it was both the Grammy-award winning singer and his wife Edie Brickell who were arrested on disorderly conduct charges.
The singer, 72, lives in New Canaan with musician Brickell, whom he married in 1992. The pair have three children together.
Brickell, 48, is perhaps best known for the debut album by Edie Brickell & New Bohemians, called "Shooting Rubberbands at the Stars," which featured the hit song, "What I Am."
The New Canaan police plan to hold a news briefing at 11:30 a.m. Monday with additional details.
