beauty and beauty: ‘America’s Got Talent’ Recap: Kenichi Ebina Stuns In Riveting Performance

It’s finals time! (No, not school finals, ‘America’s Got Talent’ finals!) The top 12 performed incredible acts Sept. 10 to fight for their spot in the competition, and we picked our five favorites.

It’s getting harder and harder to narrow down the best acts. Every act left on America’s Got Talent is something special. However, we did make the gut-wrenching decisions as to who our top five performances were. Take a look and see if you agree!

Top 5 Performances Of Sept. 10

5. Cami Bradley

Our love for Cami continues to grow. Her rendition of Jon Bon Jovi’s “Livin’ On A Prayer” was downright stunning. Her emotional performance and incredible voice were on point and perfect to close out the night. Howie Mandel proclaimed that she is a “star” and Howard Stern even said, “You’ve got a great career ahead of you.” We agree, Howard. Cami is on fire.

4. Chicago Boyz

We just can’t help but love these Boyz. They started off the night right and continued to defy odds with their fantastic jump rope act. Some of the boys were doing the worm while jump roping and then they created a three-person pyramid and continued to jump rope! Wowzers. They made a few mistakes but who hasn’t in this competition. We agree with Mel B when she said, “I just love everything about you.” So do we Mel B, so do we. These guys are phenomenal and were totally jealous of their jump roping skills.

3. Innovative Force

These girls are cheering, dancing, and doing amazing acrobatic stunts all the way to victory! This performance was much more intense than any of the others we’ve seen from the girls. Set to “Requiem For A Dream,” the ladies stepped up their game and performed amazing flips, turns, and stunts galore. Howard said that “America is just going to eat up your act” and Heidi Klum said they have the biggest fan club in her house. Her daughters idolize them. So cute!

2. Forte

Forte must know that anytime “My Heart Will Go On” is performed, tears will be shed and applause is inevitable. Their Spanish cover of the hit Titanic song was just plain beautiful. Howard and Howie both loved it, as evident by their reenactment of that pivotal “I’m flying” scene in the movie. Mel B said she just wants to “melt” when they harmonize. Touché, Mel B! We will go down with the Forte ship!

1. Kenichi Ebina

There are truly not enough words to describe this magical performance. Kenichi said he was going for a more “emotional” and “artistic” act and boy did he provide. His performance was so much more intense and we loved every second of it. We’d be lying if we said there weren’t a few tears in our eyes. From the flashes of light that show him in the air to his amazing lift from an angel at the end, everything about it was riveting. Howard called it “brilliant” and said he would definitely make it to the final two. Howie continues his Team Kenichi campaign and said Kenichi is “the most talented man here.” We have to say we agree, Howie. Kenichi is a genius.
